iPhone 4s/5 to be released in Fall

For all of us that watched the WWDC(World Wide Developers Conference) that Apple had this year, you know that unsatisfying feeling that I'm going to be talking about. The felling of, well, not having new apple products. WWDC 2011 covered only software, OSX Lion and ios5. Unfortunately there was not any new hardware released, but a time frame was given to when the new ios5 will be released. And as we know the ios5 will be released with the new iPhone. In the presentation we were told "Fall". Yes a season, but that narrows it down to a few months. So no matter how stupid you are, try not to by a new iPhone anytime soon. Analysts are saying late Augest early September, but only time will tell.

App Review: Red Laser (Free)

I have decided that I'm now going to be doing app reviews on new and noteworthy apps. This first app review is going to be about an App called Red Laser. The review is going to be broken down into major categories.

Purpose:
This app scans barcodes, and tells you the online and nearby prices of the product scanned.

Functionality:
The app functioned pretty well, although there are some bar-codes that are not registered, or recognized mainly on products that are not so common. But for the products which are recognized are scanned very quickly, and prices are accurate.

User Interface
The user interface is very simple, and well laid out. The buttons are well laid out, and everything is quickly accessible. It makes using the app quick and painless.

Conclusion
Red Laser is a great app, and can save you lots of money, especially considering it's FREE. I'ts on my front page, and I think everyone should give it a shot.

1. The HTC sensation is one of the best phones on the market, on one of the cheapest carriers. It has great features, and top of the line processors. This is a recommended buy for anyone on the smart phone market looking for an Android phone. Generally phones exceed in one area, but lack in another, although the HTC Sensation is a HUGE exception. It’s a well rounded great smart phone, so if you are looking for an Android phone this is the way to go.

Keeping the devices we use on daily basism can be something that many of us overlook. Thankfully though there are plenty of options out there. With some better than others, I'm here to discuss the iKlear Cleaning kit. I personally think its the best kit out there, and for a relatively cheap price. So here's the overview.

So overall, I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a cleaning kit. It also comes with an added keyboard cover for when you are not using your laptop or keyboard. I personally give it a 5/5.

XBOX 360 Slim First Impressions and updates.

 So if you're a gamer like myself, you know that Microsoft has released an update to the XBOX 360 line. I have purchased it to review, but until I get a good enough feel for it, here are my first impressions, and its updates to its predecessor.

So you may be wondering whats new? Well there are quite a few features. The main ones though, include built in wifi. Which means no more buying 80 dollar wifi thingies that you connect to it. It also seems that they have gotten rid of the overheating and noise problems. This thing barely gets worm after about 6 hours of Portal 2 and Call of duty black ops(which I will be reviewing shortly). IT also boasts a new slim, sleek, black finish design which many of us can appreciate.

So is it worth it? Well if you are just now buying an XBOX, then yes. If you are upgrading, it depends on your needs. But chances are it would be better to just wait it out until the next refresh comes out.

iPhone 5

The hype for this phone has been more than that of all the others combined. All those sweaty palms ready to get their hands on the new iPhone, but it may not be coming as soon as expected. So what's all this about a delay, and a new design? Well just read on...

So with the release of the iPad 2, the hype about the iPhone 5 has been greater than ever. People are expecting the new A5 chip that was in the iPad, and other features to trickle down. I'm going to break this down by features and explain each one. Now remember this information is totally from rumors, and not apple themselves. Some of these rumors of from reliable sources, and some from, well, not so reliable sources. So just bear it it all to context.

Processor: We are all pretty sure that the iPhone 5 is going to be boosting an A5 processor, as seen in the iPad two. And for all those poeple out there wondering how powerful it is. Well it boosted the iPad's graphic performance by 9 times. So yeah, it's pretty sick.

Screen: Now with the smartphone market getting more and more competitive when it comes to screen size, chances are we will be seeing a 4 inch screen on the next iPhone. Now to go along with that, there have been leaked photos of appple gettting rid of the border around the sides of the screen(as seen in the image below). I personally think that the bigger screen is a step forward, but getting rid of the sides, I'm not to sure about that. But we'll see, it sure looks good anyways.

Camera: I am almost certain, and will bet a lot of money for that matter, that the new iPhone will have an 8 megapixel camera, and hopefully, best case scenario, have true HD video along with it. As for the front facing camera, well were not too sure.

Release: Now here's where it gets tricky. There have been a lot of rumors about when Apple's going to be releasing this phone out into the wild, but for good reason. Now normally, the iPhone gets released every summer (around June or July) but there have been a few things to throw that off. For one, the iPhone went to Verizon, which people though could have thrown off the cycle. But perhaps even bigger, is that the white iPhone was just released. So the big question is will it be released in the summer, or fall? There is also the fact that the iPhone will supposedly ship with ios 5, but right now apple is on ios 4.3.3. Leaving quite a jump if they got to ios 5 in just a few months.
